Introducing the New Casa Mia Coliving Pricing to Our Members 

Previously, Casa Mia Coliving had an all-inclusive rate where your room prices were fixed each month, and utilities, cleaning, maintenance and your membership were priced into our room rates. In May 2024, we moved away from that and introduced a recharge model where you pay for what you consume. With the unbundling of these services, our room prices have come down significantly, from an average of $1,700/month, to 1,500/month. This means that our room prices are much lower, yay! In line with our easy living mission, we will still help our members with all the housing needs, whether that’s cleaning or handyman service, and will send you only one invoice a month with all charges included for your convenience. Our rooms will still come fully furnished, and our community team is available to assist with your maintenance needs. Utilities and cleaning are managed by our team, and your monthly membership fee continues to provide you with access to our community and the events we regularly host. 

Here’s a detailed breakdown of the fees that will be charged separately: 

Air Conditioning Servicing

We schedule quarterly servicing for air conditioning units, which includes inspection, vacuuming, clearing of drain pipes, and washing of filters. The cost for this routine maintenance will be added to your bill. Should any additional services be required—such as chemical washes or gas refills—Casa Mia Coliving will coordinate these and charge you based on the actual cost incurred.

Room Maintenance and Repairs

For any non-structural repairs needed, members will be responsible for costs up to a $150 cap per issue. Costs exceeding this cap will be covered by Casa Mia Coliving. Please note, if damage to fittings or furniture is caused either intentionally or unintentionally by a member, the member will be liable for the full cost of repair or replacement.

Cleaning Services

We provide weekly cleaning for all bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas. The cost for these cleaning services is $24 per hour, with total charges typically ranging between $60 and $80 per month per room, depending on the size of the home and the number of housemates.

To ensure a consistently high standard of living and to maintain the home in a clean and comfortable condition for all members, the cleaning cost is a mandatory charge. This policy helps us manage hygiene standards effectively, as we cannot pre-assess individual hygiene habits or preferences before move-in. Regular professional cleaning is essential not only for the comfort and health of the community but also to prevent larger, unexpected costs at move-out time (we're looking out for you!). By including this cost, we ensure that the home remains in excellent condition, minimizing the risk of substantial charges when you eventually leave (wooo, nobody likes these charges).

As you know, as part of our community engagement, Casa Mia Coliving organises a variety of monthly events designed to help members connect with each other, build their network and explore Singapore. While this membership before was included in the monthly rate, now it costs just $30 per month, offering a great way to meet new people and enjoy shared experiences.
